One of the most important, yet most ignored, areas of a pitching workout program is core strength training. As a pitcher you are only as strong as your weakest link. If that weak link is your core, you are in trouble! Your core is the hub that connects everything together. If throwing is a feet to fingertip exercise, which it is; then your core has to be in peak shape.
In this video I only demonstrate a couple of core exercises. However, the intent here is just to help you realize how important your core is to your overall pitching success. Don’t ignore core work. I do this so I don’t get bored and it keeps the muscles guessing.
